    Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, posted 02 May 2022 22:24

    The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has adopted an order "On the opening of checkpoints across the state border "Dyakivtsi" and "Krasnoilsk".

    Given the traffic congestion and the large number of people moving through checkpoints in connection with russia's military aggression against Ukraine, the opening of new checkpoints on the border with Romania in Chernivtsi region is an urgent need.

    The adopted order, in particular, stipulates that after the State Customs Service and the State Border Guard Service ensure the work of the relevant units, the newly created checkpoints will operate as follows:

    - BC "Dyakivtsi" - for pedestrian and vehicle crossing (including buses), except freight, with a permanent mode of operation and round-the-clock operation;

    - BC "Krasnoilsk" - for pedestrian and vehicle services (up to 3.5 tons), except freight, with a constant mode of operation and operating time from 8 to 20 o’clock.

    The opening of new checkpoints and control points on the Ukrainian-Romanian state border will allow to create favorable conditions for reducing the load on existing checkpoints in Chernivtsi and Zakarpattia regions under martial law.
