On October 20, at its meeting, the Government appointed the Head of the National Agency on Corruption Prevention Novak Natalia.
Novak Natalia is an experienced historian, lawyer, Honored Economist of Ukraine.
Commenting on the Government's decision, Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk noted that that was possible under the Law of Ukraine called to improve the NACP's activities, which came into force on October 18 this year.
The mentioned Law allows the Government to appoint, within 5 days from the entry into force, a person to serve acting Chairman of the NACP and, within 2 months, to hold a competition for the post of Chairman in line with the new procedure.
“We will exert every effort to make this competition an example of open, transparent and new quality public governance,” Oleksiy Honcharuk summed up.
