Today, August 5, at its sitting the Government has approved the draft Law of Ukraine "On Ratification of the Protocol between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the State of Qatar on Amendments to the Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of Qatar on Air Services" and the relevant draft order CMU on submission of this Protocol for ratification by the Verkhovna Rada. This was announced by the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Vladyslav Kryklii.

"We continue to comply with the necessary domestic procedures and commitments for the entry into force of the Protocol between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of the State of Qatar amending the Agreement between the two countries on air services. It was signed in November last year to further liberalize the conditions of regular air services between Ukraine and Qatar. After the ratification of the Protocol and its entry into force, we will be able to remove restrictions on the number of flights, capacity and types of aircraft, points in the territories of both countries in the process of the scheduled air service," said the Minister.

The Government has also approved the draft Law of Ukraine "On Ratification of the Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of Montenegro on International Road Transportation of Passengers and Cargo" and the relevant draft order of the Cabinet of Ministers on ratification of this Protocol by the Verkhovna Rada. This Agreement defines the conditions for international road conveyance of passengers and goods between the territories of Ukraine and Montenegro, transit through their territories and to / from third countries on the basis of relevant permits issued by the authorities of both countries and exemptions from such permits.
