  • Government directs to local budget over UAH 611.2 mn for the payment of compensation for the housing to war veterans and families of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes

    During the last month, the Government has approved four orders of the Cabinet of Ministers on the distribution of a subvention from the state budget to local budgets for the payment of monetary compensation for the purchase of housing for war veterans and victims of the Revolution of Dignity.

    Under those documents, compensation for housing will be paid to persons with disabilities of groups I-II, which occurred as a result of injury, contusion, mutilation or illness received during direct participation in the anti-terror operation.

    Funds in the total amount of UAH 305,145.3 thousand were directed to 24 regions and the city of Kyiv.

    This will allow to pay compensation for housing to 262 persons with disabilities of the I-II groups and members of the families of the victims who defended the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.

    Moreover, the sum worth UAH 248,445.0 thousand was directed to 24 regions and the city of Kyiv to provide housing for 219 internally displaced persons with group III disabilities as a result of war who took part in the anti-terror operation.

    In addition, funds in the total amount of UAH 7,626.4 thousand were allocated to the local budgets of 5 regions to pay compensation for housing to the families of the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred and to persons injured, maimed and contused during the Revolution of Dignity.

    The order also provides for the payment of monetary compensation for the provision of housing for participants in hostilities on the territory of other states and members of their families with disabilities of groups I-II.

    The sum worth UAH 50,000.0 thousand was sent to 17 regions and the city of Kyiv to pay monetary compensation to 46 participants in hostilities on the territory of other states and members of their families.
