Today, on 17 December, the Government approved the second stage of the distribution of additional subsidies for the fourth quarter of 2024 for local budgets.

Local budgets will be provided with UAH 314 million to support local governments in the de-occupied, temporarily occupied and other regions affected by russian aggression.

The financial resource, in accordance with the mechanism established by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 1477 dated 30.12.2022, was distributed among the budgets of territorial communities: 16 communities where active hostilities are taking place - UAH 8.7 million; 38 communities where hostilities are possible - UAH 241.4 million; 21 communities where hostilities have been conducted or whihc are de-occupied - UAH 58.6 million; 7 communities where hostilities are not taking place or have already ceased - UAH 5.3 million.

Since the beginning of 2024, the Government has distributed additional subsidies to local budgets totalling UAH 27 billion.
