Government introduces a model for young families under the eOselia program
The Government has introduced a model for young families under the eOselia program, Prime Minister Sergii Koretskyi announced.
According to him, the rate under this model is 7% for the first three years, 10% from the fourth to the tenth year, and 12% from the eleventh year. For each child born or adopted after the loan is received, the rate will be reduced by 2 percentage points, but not below 0.1%.
"Borrowers under this model will be able to buy housing with room to grow. The cost and area of housing for this model may exceed the standard parameters by up to 40%. The difference in cost is covered by the borrower's own contribution. Larger housing can be purchased in new builds or in buildings commissioned no more than three years ago," the Head of Government emphasized.
In addition, the Prime Minister noted, the verification of borrowers' property status has been improved: "This will help prevent abuse, and state support will go to those who truly meet the program's conditions."
Sergii Koretskyi stressed that "these changes are needed so that young families can immediately choose housing with space for children, pay less on their loan with each new child, and, importantly, plan their future in Ukraine."
