  • Government excludes four non-operating industrial parks from the register
Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, posted 21 February 2025 13:17

On 21 February, the Cabinet of Ministers decided to exclude four industrial parks from the register of industrial parks in Ukraine. The decision was based on the fact that no management companies had been selected in the industrial parks for two years. Therefore, the parks did not carry out economic activities aimed at developing the park and attracting participants and other entities.

The exclusion of an industrial park from the register is not a ground for its liquidation. It can continue to operate, but without receiving benefits and incentives from the state.

“Industrial parks are a tool for economic development, but they must comply with the requirements of the law to operate effectively. The absence of management companies makes it impossible to develop industrial infrastructure and operate an industrial park. At the same time, the exclusion of parks from the register does not mean their liquidation – they can reapply for inclusion in the register in six months,” said Deputy Minister of Economy Vitaliy Kindrativ.

    This concerns the following parks:

    • First Eco-Industrial Park (Ivano-Frankivsk region, established in 2013).
    • SIGMA Park Yarychiv (Lviv region, established in 2017).
    • Rivne Industrial Park (Rivne region, established in 2020).
    • Malyn-Zakhid (Zhytomyr region, established in 2021).
