The Government has established a commission to sell the state-owned stakes in Sense Bank and Ukrgasbank. Representatives of international financial organizations and EU institutions may take part in its work. This was announced by Prime Minister of Ukraine Sergii Koretskyi.

The commission will determine the procedure for holding the tenders, decide which participants are admitted, approve the starting price of the tenders, taking into account the advisers' recommendations, and select the winners and set the sale price. It will then submit these decisions to the Government for approval. The Ministry of Finance has already selected advisers for both banks.

"Our goal is to create proper conditions for a transparent and competitive sale of the state-owned stakes in both banks," Sergii Koretskyi said.
