  • Government adopts decision to overcome consequences of Kakhovka HPP blast

    The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has adopted a resolution to overcome the consequences of the emergency caused by the blowing up of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant dam as a result of russia’s armed aggression.

    The document recommends that the Kherson Regional Military Administration and other local governments organise work to restore damaged buildings and calculate the appropriate amount of compensation. In particular:

    • conduct a survey of the territory, a set of emergency rescue measures and demining;
    • organise the work of commissions to inspect damaged buildings and structures in all communities of Kherson region with the involvement of a sufficient number of personnel;
    • enter the results of the survey and calculations of compensation amounts into the State Register of Damaged and Destroyed Property.
