The Government has adopted the procedure for implementing the Health Screening 40+ program, which will come into effect on January 1, 2026. The 2026 State Budget envisages UAH 10 billion for the implementation of the health screening program. This was announced by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.

“The program is aimed at the early detection of diseases that most affect the lifespan and quality of life of Ukrainians: cardiovascular diseases, type 2 diabetes, and mental health problems. It is a simple measure that will enable us not to miss anything important,” said the Head of Government.

The Prime Minister explained how the program will operate for citizens:

- Every Ukrainian citizen aged 40 and above shall receive a personal invitation to Diia on the 30th day after their 40th birthday. After accepting the invitation, UAH 2,000 shall be credited to their Diia Card, which can be used exclusively for health screening.

- For those who do not use Diia, there will be an alternative route through banks and Centers for Administrative Services Provision.

- The checkup can be done at state, municipal, and private institutions that meet the requirements of the Ministry of Health and the National Health Service of Ukraine for participation in the Health Screening 40+ program.

Yulia Svyrydenko announced that the Ministry of Health would soon publish a list of institutions offering screening under this program.

The Prime Minister thanked the teams of the Ministry of Health, the National Health Service, the Ministry of Digital Transformation, and partners for the joint effort.
