In June, Government provided payment of almost UAH 68 billion in pensions and UAH 1.2 billion in subsidies: Denys Shmyhal

In June of 2025, the Government ensured a timely payment of almost UAH 68 billion in pensions and UAH 1.2 billion in housing subsidies and benefits. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal announced this during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on July 2.

“Thanks to international support and the trust in Ukraine by our partners, we can fully finance our army, pay salaries to doctors and teachers, pay pensions and subsidies on time, and recover our country,” the Head of Government accentuated.

Denys Shmyhal assured the Government had a clear understanding of how Ukraine would cover the budget deficit in 2025 and engaged in the activities on preparing and negotiating the financing for 2026.

The Prime Minister also thanked all taxpayers for their contribution to the country's resilience and said that in June the state budget had earned over UAH 360 billion in tax revenues, fees and other payments.
