Government has allocated funds to continue providing portable charging stations to children with disabilities in subgroup A

The Government has disbursed funding to continue providing portable charging stations to children with disabilities in subgroup A.

The relevant decision was adopted at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

The program for the procurement and delivery of portable charging stations with an approximate capacity of 2 kWh for children with disabilities in subgroup A will be extended through the reallocation of state budget expenditures. This will make it possible to provide stations to families who have already submitted applications but did not receive assistance during the previous phase of the program’s implementation.

The State Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine will be responsible for procuring the equipment.

As a reminder, applications could be submitted by the child’s parents, guardians, or legal representatives. This includes representatives of state-supported children’s homes, foster families, orphanages, foster parents, or families where a child has been temporarily placed.

In January, the Cabinet of Ministers approved a resolution to provide portable charging stations to children with disabilities in subgroup A. In February, the first large shipment arrived in Ukraine and was promptly distributed to families who had submitted applications by the end of April.
