By its Resolution No. 163-r, the Cabinet of Ministers has approved a draft letter from the Government of Ukraine to the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) on a request to accede to the Convention on Combating Bribery of Foreign Public Officials in International Business Transactions (OECD Anti-Bribery Convention).

In accordance with step 251 of the Government's Priority Action Plan for 2025, the State Audit Service was involved in preparing for Ukraine's accession to the OECD Convention.

The letter approved by the Cabinet of Ministers is also a request for membership in the OECD Working Group on Combating Bribery in International Business Transactions.

Ukraine started the process of joining the OECD and the Working Group in the summer of 2022.

The Anti-Bribery Convention is one of the highest global anti-corruption standards. Joining it and the OECD Working Group is one of the priority steps towards our country's membership in the OECD, which, in turn, is a fundamentally important step on the path to EU membership.
