Government broadens criteria for identifying enterprises critical to meeting the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine enlarges the criteria for identifying enterprises, institutions, and organizations that are critical to meeting the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Specifically, the changes involve adding a new category of enterprises to the existing criteria. This refers to companies that fulfill contracts with the commands of the Armed Forces’ branches or individual service branches regarding the transportation of military cargo, the repair, maintenance, and operation of weapons, military and specialized equipment, ammunition and their components, as well as the procurement of defense-related goods for their maintenance.
“Expanding the criteria will support enterprises that provide logistics, repair, and maintenance of defense equipment, thereby contributing to the stable functioning of the defense sector,” noted Vitalii Kindrativ, Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture of Ukraine.
It is expected that the adoption of the resolution will ensure the stable operation of enterprises that perform important defense tasks and directly support the activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
