Government extends preferential electricity rates for households through the end of October 2026
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, upon the recommendation of the Ministry of Energy, has extended the preferential electricity rates on the electricity market through the end of October 2026. This allows for the conservation of fixed electricity prices for residential consumers.
“Thus, Ukrainians will continue to pay for electricity at the unchanged rate of 4.32 UAH per kWh,” said First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine and Minister of Energy Denys Shmyhal.
In addition, according to Denys Shmyhal, the preferential rate of 2.64 UAH/kWh remains in effect for homes with electric heating and for homes without gas or centralized heating.
“The extension of these special obligations is a consistent state policy to support people during wartime, preserve their well-being, and strengthen energy resilience,” noted Denys Shmyhal.
