Government continues to work on improving the business environment through deregulation and digitalisation: Prime Minister
The Government of Ukraine has adopted a number of decisions to support businesses under the "Made in Ukraine" programme. Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal announced during a session of the Cabinet of Ministers on 18 June.
"The first decision is to create an option for construction contractors to submit documents for the start of construction work and the facility's readiness for operation not only through the Diia web portal, but also through a mobile application," the Head of Government said. He added that the decision would help overcome bureaucratic barriers and speed up procedures in the construction sector.
In addition, the Government has simplified the procedures for obtaining a conclusion on the extension of the deadlines for payments for the export and import of certain goods set by the National Bank of Ukraine. In particular, according to Denys Shmyhal, the requirements for the timing of submission of the relevant application to the Ministry of Economy have been cancelled.
"The Government's constant priority is the comprehensive programme "Made in Ukraine" initiated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. We engage in constant communication with businesses, respond to the proposals of entrepreneurs, and constantly improve the business environment, in particular through deregulation and digitalisation," the Prime Minister stressed.
