Government approves creation of Foreign Recruitment Center within the National Guard
The Government has approved the creation of a Center for the Recruitment of Foreigners and Stateless Persons within Ukraine's National Guard. Prime Minister of Ukraine Sergii Koretskyi announced.
The Center will coordinate the recruitment of foreign volunteers for military service under contract and support candidates at every stage — from interviews and required background checks to training.
"The path to service needs to be as fast as possible. Combat units must get the reinforcements they need without delay," the Prime Minister said.
Sergii Koretskyi noted that attracting foreign volunteers to serve in Ukraine's defense forces is one of the state's priorities.
"Our goal is to scale up this effort and bring more people willing to defend Ukraine alongside Ukrainians into the armed forces," Sergii Koretskyi said.
