  • Update on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

    According to the data presented by the  Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of on June 25, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 40,008 COVID-19 cases, 17,758 people recovered, 1,067 patients died. During the 24 hours, 994 new cases have been confirmed.

    A total of 606,766 samples in Ukraine were tested using PCR method and  163,941 samples using ELISA method.

    In total 2,936 cases among children and 6,346 cases among healthcare workers were recorded.  10, 870 people were hospitalized. There are 372 people undergoing treatment with the use of artificial lung ventilation machines. 29,198 patients have been undergoing outpatient treatment. 3,850 healthcare workers have recovered.

    COVID-19 cases were registered:

    Vinnytsia region – 1,753 cases (1,091 recovered);

    Volyn region – 2,024 cases (605 recovered);

    Dnipropetrovsk region – 1,069 cases (893 recovered);

    Donetsk region – 399 (150 recovered);

    Zhytomyr region – 1,337 cases (688 recovered);

    Zakarpattia region – 2,454 cases (864 recovered);

    Zaporizhia region – 561 cases (401 recovered);

    Ivano-Frankivsk region – 2,171 cases (1,083 recovered);

    Kyiv – 4,613 cases (1,473 recovered);

    Kyiv region – 2,373 cases (1,185 recovered);

    Kirovohrad region – 636 cases (524 recovered);

    Lviv region – 4,627 cases (712 recovered);

    Luhansk region – 75 cases (54 recovered);

    Mykolaiv region - 377 cases (273 recovered);

    Odesa region – 1,456 cases (569 recovered);

    Poltava region – 301 cases (267 recovered);

    Rivne region – 3,248  cases (1,623 recovered);

    Sumy region – 277 cases (195 recovered);

    Ternopil region – 1,815 cases (1,102 recovered);

    Kharkiv region – 1,927 cases (977 recovered);

    Kherson region – 188 cases (175 recovered);

    Khmelnytsky region - 645 cases (515 recovered);

    Cherkasy region – 616 cases (431 recovered);

    Chernivtsi region – 4,531 cases (1,163 recovered);

    Chernihiv region – 506 cases (145 recovered);


    Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are not available.


    The Ministry of Healthcare of Ukraine urges when having the first symptoms of respiratory illnesses to call a family doctor. Stay home! Self-isolation is the most efficient way to protect yourself from infection.
