During 2016-2020, the national postal operator Ukrposhta was able to save about UAH 1 billion by using the ProZorro system. This was announced by the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Vladyslav Kryklii.
"Ukrposhta continues to demonstrate that a state-owned company can be successful and modern. Only In the last 4 years, the national postal operator has managed to save about UAH 1 billion on tenders through the ProZorro system. During this time, almost 11,000 auctions were held, in which more than 5,600 participants took part. Ahead is the largest investment program in the history of Ukrposhta - computerization and digitalization of work, as well as the construction of the first sorting centres. The work of CEO Ihor Smilyansky and the whole team is an example for others," the Infrastructure Minister said.
The company managed to save the most on the purchase of 2,700 POS-terminals (UAH 8.5 million), the purchase of almost 4,000 personal computers for employees (UAH 15.6 million) and electricity (over UAH 24 million).
Moreover, Ukrposhta became the first in public procurement of fuel for 200+ car locations at the lowest prices in the system, branded IT equipment and printing paper, as well as natural gas through storage. The company also joined the factoring, received three consecutive annual awards "Zakupki.(Purchases) bests", concluded framework agreements for fuel, gas, electricity, paper, briquettes and insurance through the system, selected suppliers for leasing agreements through the system and began to accept goods with competitors supplier.
