Under the conditions of the weekend quarantine, the national postal operator Ukrposhta will continue to operate without changes. This was announced by the Minister of Infrastructure Vladyslav Kryklii.
"Together with supermarkets, pharmacies, gas stations and transport, Ukrposhta remains to work amid the weekend quarantine, complying with all the necessary safety requirements. The work schedule of the branches is unchanged. To significantly reduce queues at offices in a pandemic, the company has already launched work on the weekend of 250 busiest post offices. Everything is done for the comfort and safety of customers," said the Minister.
In turn, Ukrposhta General Director Ihor Smilyansky stressed that Ukrposhta will work to ensure that everyone who closes on the weekend can keep their business, work online and send their shipments to customers conveniently and quickly. "And those who, for example, do not have time to get to the mall on weekdays, will be able to safely buy the necessary goods online with delivery by Ukrposhta," he added.
It should be noted, earlier the Minister of Infrastructure reported that during quarantine on weekends work of transport won't stop. At the same time, under national quarantine, vehicles, including minibuses, trolleybuses, trams and railways will carry passengers according to the number of seats. This applies to urban, suburban, long-distance, intra-regional and inter-regional communication. Domestic air transportation will be carried out without restrictions.
