
Ukrainians have already spent over UAH 130 million within the program ePidtrymka, says Denys Shmyhal
More than 4.9 million Ukrainians have already opened bank accounts, and 4 million Ukrainians have registered to receive funding under the President's Support Program. This was stated by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal on air of the program Svoboda Slova (Freedom of Speech – ed.) on ICTV.
The Prime Minister added that since the launch of the program, Ukrainians had benefited from state aid to the tune of UAH 134 million, spending funds in those areas most affected by the pandemic, including the purchase of books, cinema tickets and rail travel.
"This is the second program this year to help businesses that have suffered from quarantine restrictions," stressed Denys Shmyhal.
According to the Prime Minister, due to in particular to business support programs, Ukraine is expected to have a record dollar GDP this year, with an average salary of $550.
