Approximately 6 million COVID test kits will be handed over to family doctors and mobile ambulance crews in Ukraine.

Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced during a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on November 18.

According to the Prime Minister, the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Budget supported the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers to allocate UAH 1 billion for the purchase of almost 6 million COVID express test kits: "This will give us an effective and fast tool for additional testing," he said.

Moreover, the Prime Minister stressed that another UAH 900 million would be allocated for additional oxygen supply for hospitals in all regions of Ukraine.

"Additional funds will also be directed to the regions to prepare for the organization of mobile hospitals. We will hope that they will not be used, but we must be ready and anticipate all possible options," said Denys Shmyhal.
