For more than three months, the support of Ukraine's allies amounted to USD 7 billion. Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced during a Government session on May 31.

"Every day we work and negotiate to increase aid. For example, today we will approve the terms of attracting financial support from the Government of Canada in the amount of almost USD 800 million. Our Canadian friends have previously provided support for almost USD 400 million, and we are grateful for these very important funds for Ukraine, "said Denys Shmyhal.

According to the Prime Minister, the Government continues to develop joint projects with European partners. Thus, the Cabinet of Ministers approved a draft agreement with the European Union, which provides for the allocation of EUR 330 million to Ukraine.

"These are funds to support the economy of Ukraine and our people in the face of russia's military aggression. We are grateful for such help, "the Prime Minister said.

Apart from that, Denys Shmyhal also thanked European partners for agreeing on the 6th package of sanctions against russia, which includes a partial oil embargo. According to the Prime Minister, the kremlin regime could lose USD 10 to 25 billion from this decision, and this will further deprive it of the opportunity to finance the war against Ukraine and the whole of Europe.
