Ukraine and Poland discussed opportunities for implementation of the Grain from Ukraine humanitarian mission
The mechanisms, tools and ways of implementation of the Grain from Ukraine program were discussed during the meeting between Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Mykola Solsky and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland to Ukraine Bartosz Cichocki.
The parties discussed the possibility of expanding the pool of participating partners of the humanitarian program, urgent issues of its financing mechanisms and the procedure of interaction between the participants at each stage of the mission.
“Implementation of the initiative is a joint work of Ukraine and partners and it is important for us to make it as efficient as possible. It affects not only the economic stability of our country in difficult times, but also the food security of the world in general,” said Mykola Solsky.
The Minister also stressed the importance of using all possible means of transport, which would allow to increase exports of Ukrainian agricultural products. Bartosz Cichocki emphasized that Poland will continue to actively support Ukraine, particularly in the issues of ensuring global food security.
