Ukraine and Poland committed to further deepening of bilateral cooperation

On 26 September 2018, on the sidelines of the 73rd session of the  UNGA in New York, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin  informed his Polish counterpart Jacek Czaputowicz on Ukraine’s  assessment of the current state of Ukrainian-Polish relations.

He  stressed that both states share similar positions on the majority of  issues on the international agenda and cooperate closely in various  international organizations, including in the UN.

The Parties  discussed possible mutual steps and initiatives to deepen bilateral  relations, including in the sphere of dialogue on the joint history of  the two nations.

Over the course of the meeting the counterparts  agreed on the importance of maintaining active bilateral contacts to  further develop mutually beneficial cooperation.
