The State Aviation Service of Ukraine has become a full-fledged member of JARUS (Joint Authorities for Rulemaking on Unmanned Systems).
JARUS membership provides opportunities for participation in thematic working groups, forging contacts with organizations and leading global companies directly involved in the development of a global unmanned systems regulation concept and allowing influence the development and solution of industry problems. Sharing knowledge and harmonizing requirements helps participants set their regulatory frameworks in line with world standards.
Background
JARUS is a group of experts from over 60 countries as well as the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and EUROCONTROL, including regional aviation safety organizations. The objective of JARUS is to provide guidance material aiming to facilitate each authority to write their own requirements and to avoid duplicate efforts.
