Today, Ukraine received 300 million euros as part of a macro-financial assistance package, the second part of the first tranche of a new EU 1.2 billion euros macro-financial assistance program.
Taking into account the 300 million euros received by Ukraine on March 11, 2022, the first tranche under the new EU macro-financial assistance program is currently 600 million euros.
These funds will be used to maintain financial stability in Ukraine.
Background
On March 3, Ukraine and the European Union signed a Memorandum of Understanding and a Loan Agreement to provide our country with concessional loans under a new package of emergency macro-financial assistance in the amount of 1.2 billion euros.
