Ukraine expresses readiness to deepen its cooperation and maintain a high-level bilateral dialogue with its strategic partner - the United States of America. Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman announced during a meeting with the U.S. Chargé d'Affaires a.i. in Ukraine William Taylor who again leads the U.S. diplomatic mission. In 2006-2009, William Taylor was the United States Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Ukraine. "You are carrying out an important and honorary mission. And you have already done a lot to develop our bilateral relations. I hope that your current mission will be aimed at deepening our relations", said Volodymyr Groysman.

In turn, William Taylor noted that Ukraine is visited by high-ranking officials of the USA quite often, which is the evidence of the importance of Ukraine and cooperation with Ukraine for the American Government. "This is the proof of support", said Ambassador William Taylor. During the conversation, the parties discussed the current state of affairs in Ukraine, inter alia in the context of the progress of reforms and preparation for the parliamentary elections.
