The number of people willing to apply for the Winter eSupport programme initiated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy continues to grow. So far, more than 6 million applications for UAH 1,000 state aid have been received through Diia. This was announced by the Prime Minister of Ukraine at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on 10 December.

According to the Head of Government, since last week, this assistance has been available to Ukrposhta customers. People have the opportunity to spend it on goods and services provided by the national postal operator.

“Today we are launching a third option: receiving a thousand hryvnias of support through a partner bank. This option is aimed at older people who do not use Diia, as well as guardians of minor children,” said Denys Shmyhal.

According to him, all one needs to do is contact the bank and write an application. A special account will be opened in the financial institution to receive funds that can be used to pay for utilities, education, medical transport, services, books, medicines, communications, or to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The state’s partners in this programme are 13 banks with an extensive network, said Denys Shmyhal.
