Ukrainian farmers have harvested over 15 million tonnes of grain and leguminous crops


As of August 1, 2025, 4,423,900 hectares have been threshed in Ukraine, yielding 15,474,000 tonnes of early grain and leguminous crops. Already 39% of the area sown with grain and leguminous crops has been threshed.

In particular:

  • Wheat – 3,054,200 hectares threshed, 11,357,800 tonnes harvested; 
  • Barley – 1,014,800 hectares threshed, 3,572,800 tonnes harvested;
  • Peas – 208,200 hectares threshed, 492,200 tonnes harvested;
  • Other grains and legumes – 145,500 hectares threshed and 50,400 tonnes harvested. 

Among the leaders are: 

  • Odesa region – 1,070,400 hectares threshed, 3,089,100 tonnes harvested;
  • Kirovohrad region – 462,900 hectares threshed, 1,927,500 tonnes harvested;
  • Poltava region – 1,070,400 hectares threshed, 3,089,100 tonnes harvested; 
  • Kirovohrad region – 462,900 hectares threshed, 1,927,500 tonnes harvested.
  • Poltava region – 344,700 hectares threshed, 1,519,800 tonnes harvested. 

Farmers in Dnipropetrovsk and Kherson regions have started threshing millet, harvesting 1,200 hectares and producing 83 tonnes. 

Rapeseed has already been threshed on an area of 781,900 hectares, producing 1,761,500 tonnes.
