Ukrainian farmers harvested nearly 30 million tonnes of grain crops

As of September 12, 2025, Ukraine had already harvested 29,150,000 tonnes of grain crops on an area of 7,007,900 hectares. 62% of the area sown with these crops has been threshed.
In particular:
- Wheat – 22,189,800 tonnes harvested on an area of 5,008,200 hectares.
- Barley – 5,290,500 tonnes harvested on an area of 1,344,800 hectares.
- Peas – 611,600 tonnes harvested on an area of 265,700 hectares.
- Corn – 192,200 tonnes harvested from an area of 54,100 hectares.
- Other grains and legumes – 801,100 tonnes harvested from an area of 291,500 hectares.
Among the leaders are:
- Odesa region – 3,449,700 tonnes harvested from an area of 1,090,000 hectares;
- Vinnytsia region – 2,403,400 tonnes harvested from an area of 432,400 hectares;
- Kirovohrad region – 2,208,400 tonnes harvested from an area of 535,500 hectares;
- Khmelnytskyi region – 2,102,300 tonnes harvested from an area of 299,800 hectares.
- Rapeseed – 3,246,500 tonnes harvested from an area of 1,274,300 hectares. Harvesting of this crop is complete.
- Soybeans – 354,300 tonnes harvested from an area of 204,700 hectares.
- Sunflowers – 885,300 tonnes harvested from an area of 570,300 hectares.
- Sugar beets have already been harvested in the amount of 155,100 tonnes on an area of 3,300 hectares.
Corn harvesting has already begun in six regions of Ukraine: Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Sumy, and Cherkasy.
