Strengthening cooperation and reconstruction projects were discussed by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal and World Bank President Ajay Banga. The meeting took place in Spain on the sidelines of the UN Conference.

"Since the onset of the full-scale invasion, the World Bank has already mobilized more than USD 77 billion to help our country," the Head of Government noted and thanked for the support.

He informed that 18 joint projects with the World Bank were currently being implemented in Ukraine, covering the restoration of transport and energy infrastructure, construction of housing and shelters in schools, as well as support for small and medium-sized businesses and the agricultural sector.

"We are working together to prepare for post-war recovery. In particular, we are talking about launching an effective system for managing public investment projects and developing scenarios for Ukraine's accelerated economic integration into the EU," emphasized Denys Shmyhal.
