Ukraine is seeking to integrate into the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development next year. This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal at a meeting with OECD Secretary-General Mathias Cormann.

"Joining the club of developed countries remains a constant priority for Ukraine. We expect this to happen in 2026," the Head of Government said.

The parties considered the structural changes that Ukraine is carrying out on its way to membership in the Organisation. Denys Shmyhal thanked for the high assessment of the progress made and for the assistance in implementing reforms.

"This will contribute to the reconstruction, investment attraction, and accelerate European integration processes," the Prime Minister stressed.

He expressed confidence that our country, together with the OECD, would manage to meet all the challenges of today.
