Prime Minister of Ukraine Sergii Koretskyi met with Sjoerd Sjoerdsma, Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

Sergii Koretskyi thanked the Dutch Government for the non-military aid package of EUR 1.2 billion for 2027–2029 announced today.

"The EUR 1.2 billion non-military aid package for 2027–2029 is practical support for energy, water supply, the private sector and reconstruction. It is a significant contribution on top of the Netherlands' military support for Ukraine," said the Head of Government.

Protecting critical infrastructure remains one of the key priorities. This includes backup equipment and spare parts for rapid recovery after russian attacks, as well as physical and civil protection of energy facilities. Ukraine receives help in this area from both the Dutch Government and private energy companies.

Particular attention during the meeting was paid to cooperation between Ukrainian and Dutch businesses. Ukraine is interested in investment from Dutch companies and in their expertise in agriculture, IT and energy equipment production.

"For our part, we are ready to share our experience in rapid rebuilding and protecting critical infrastructure," said Sergii Koretskyi.

The Prime Minister also briefed the Dutch side on the war risk insurance mechanism developed by the Government, which is designed to create additional conditions for businesses to operate and to attract investment in Ukraine.

Strengthening industrial resilience will be another area of cooperation.

"Today, Ukraine's Minister of Economy and Environment will sign a declaration of intent with his Dutch counterpart on deepening economic cooperation, supporting Ukraine's industrial resilience and developing the 'Industrial Ramstein'. We also discussed what the aid will include, in particular practical support for the private sector," said the Prime Minister of Ukraine.

During the meeting, the Dutch Minister praised the work of the Government and the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on delivering EU integration priorities.

Sergii Koretskyi thanked the Netherlands for supporting Ukraine's European path.
