Ukraine and Moldova to expand cooperation in the fields of geodesy, cartography and cadastre

On 15–16 June 2026, a delegation from the State Geocadastre, led by its Head, Dmytro Makarenko, paid an official visit to the Republic of Moldova.

The State Service of Ukraine for Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre and the Agency for Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre of the Republic of Moldova signed a Memorandum of Cooperation in the fields of geodesy, cartography, cadastre, land valuation, geoinformatics, remote sensing and geospatial data infrastructure.

The document aims to expand international cooperation between Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova in the fields of geodesy, cartography, cadastre, geoinformatics, remote sensing and geospatial data infrastructure, and sets out the priority areas for cooperation between the two countries within the framework of this initiative.
