Ukraine and Canada open new opportunities for youth
A significant step towards launching youth exchanges with Canada has been taken.
At a Government meeting, the draft Law of Ukraine “On the Ratification of the Agreement between the Government of Canada and the Government of Ukraine concerning Youth Mobility” was approved.
The draft law proposes that the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine ratify this Agreement, enabling the completion of domestic procedures necessary for its entry into force.
The adoption of this document will open new horizons for Ukrainian and Canadian youth, from exploring each other’s culture, society, and language to participating in travel, educational exchanges, temporary employment, and gaining valuable life experience.
This is not just an international agreement – it is a gateway to new opportunities for development, networking, and fostering an active civic stance among the younger generation.
The law will take effect one year after the termination or lifting of martial law in Ukraine.
Once ratified, the Agreement will provide a robust legal framework for launching youth exchange programmes.
