Ukraine has received €2.9 billion from the European Union under the Ukraine Facility.

This is part of the funding already envisaged under the Ukraine Facility. It became available after Ukraine met 10 indicators during Q1 and Q2 of 2026 and earlier periods, covering the banking sector, energy, agricultural policy, transport, and other areas. Three of the indicators were met ahead of schedule.

"Given the difficult financial situation, these funds are critically important for the resilience of the state, for covering key expenditures, and for allowing us to direct more of the domestic resources to defense," said Prime Minister of Ukraine Sergii Koretskyi.

The Head of Government stressed that the need for funding remains critical.

"We are speeding up the adoption of all government decisions as much as possible. We are also working with the Parliament to pass the necessary bills as quickly as possible," Sergii Koretskyi said.

The Prime Minister thanked the European Union and all Member States for their consistent support of Ukraine.
