Ukraine to reimburse Ukrainian companies for expenses related to participation in international trade shows

The Government plans to reimburse businesses in the processing industry for up to 70% of their expenses related to participation in international trade shows, while their associations for up to 100% of such expenses. The relevant resolution was adopted by the Government on May 20.

The document provides for compensation to Ukrainian manufacturers in the processing industry and their associations for the costs of participating in specialized international exhibitions within Ukraine’s national pavilions. The list of international exhibitions, participation in which will be supported by the state, will be approved by the Ministry of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture of Ukraine.

This will help expand the presence of Ukrainian products in international markets and enhance the country's export potential amid martial law. The state will help manufacturers overcome financial and logistical challenges associated with participating in international events, including costs for organizational fees, rental of exhibition space, equipment, and booths.

“Participation in international exhibitions will help Ukrainian producers open new sales markets, increase exports and foreign exchange earnings, promote their own brands, find new partners and buyers, and study modern production technologies and global quality standards. In the context of the war, such support from the state is an important tool for developing the processing industry, creating added value, and strengthening the country’s economic resilience,” noted the Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture Taras Vysotskyi.
