Olga Buslavets, Director General of Energy Markets of the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry, took part in the International Energy Forum EU4Energy Policy Forum underway in Paris (France).

During the event, expert discussions were held on reforms in energy subsidies, the transition to renewable energy sources, slumping demand for traditional energy resources, low carbon development, diversification and security of energy supply.

During the four sessions of the first day of the Forum, participants reviewed the subsidization of fossil fuels in a global and regional context and modern approaches to energy subsidy reform. Moreover, the attendees discussed the security of supplies and energy security in general.
