The Government plans to create the position of deputy minister for recovery in a number of ministries and the position of deputy head of the regional military administration for recovery in 11 regions. Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced the relevant order of the Government.

According to the Head of Government, the order concerns the ministries implementing recovery projects and the regions most affected by the war.

“russian terrorists have caused considerable destruction in Ukraine. In order to restore everything quickly and efficiently, we need a new recovery architecture. We already have a Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration, and the relevant Agency has been established. Now we are introducing the positions of deputy for recovery in ministries and local authorities. This will speed up the process of project preparation and improve the quality of these projects,” said Denys Shmyhal.

According to the Prime Minister, this year the Government is launching urgent recovery in five priority areas: energy, housing, demining, critical and social infrastructure, and support for the private sector to revive the economy.
