The Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories continues to pay state financial assistance in the interests of persons who have been deprived of their liberty as a result of the armed aggression against Ukraine.

In particular, in July, the Ministry transferred UAH 13 million to the bank accounts of the families of Ukrainian citizens who were illegally deprived of their liberty by the russian federation.

Thus, another 75 families of political prisoners, civilian hostages and prisoners of war received state aid in the amount of UAH 100,000 for each year of captivity. Many of them received it for several years of their relatives’ time in detention.

It should be noted that in January-July, the Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories has already paid state aid to those released from captivity and to the families of captives in the total amount of UAH 137.4 million.
