During a working visit to Dnipropetrovsk region, a Government team led by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal visited a medical facility that provides comprehensive medical care, from childbirth onwards. Since February 2022, this hospital has treated the largest number of wounded children in Ukraine, owing to its extensive experience in managing patients with mine-blast injuries and combat-related traumatic brain injuries.

The Head of Government also reviewed the progress of construction of a new surgical wing and a civil protection shelter.

As Denys Shmyhal emphasised, the project will serve not only as a shelter during wartime but also as a medical facility in peacetime.
