Pregnancy, maternity and childcare benefits for children under one year can now be applied for in Diia

Applications for pregnancy and maternity benefits and for childcare benefit for children under one year can now be submitted in Diia, Prime Minister Sergii Koretskyi announced.

According to him, once an application is submitted online, Diia sends it to the Unified Information System of the Social Sphere, which automatically collects the necessary data from state registers. The system generates a decision, which is then reviewed and approved by a Pension Fund employee.

Benefits can also be applied for at Pension Fund service centers, administrative service centers (CASPs), or through authorized representatives of territorial communities.

"Maternity benefit for women who are not covered by compulsory state social insurance is UAH 7,000 per month," the Head of Government said.

Childcare benefit for a child under one year is UAH 7,000 per month. For families raising a child with a disability, it is UAH 10,500 per month.
