International partners announce nearly EUR 170 million in new contributions to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund in June

In June, the Ukraine Energy Support Fund received a EUR 10 million grant contribution from Italy.

During URC2026, international partners also announced new contributions to the Fund, including EUR 126 million from Sweden, EUR 43 million from Norway, EUR 550,000 from Iceland, and EUR 125,000 from Estonia.

In June, contracts worth approximately EUR 54.9 million were signed through the Fund’s mechanism for the supply of critical energy equipment. The procurements cover power transformers, high-voltage equipment, cables, turbine generators, diesel generators, wind power equipment, materials for repairing energy facilities, and other equipment needed to restore and protect Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.

In addition, during June, Ukrainian energy companies received equipment worth approximately EUR 3.7 million, procured through the Ukraine Energy Support Fund under previously signed contracts. The deliveries included equipment and materials required to ensure the stable operation, restoration, modernisation and improved reliability of the country’s energy infrastructure.

Overall, the Ukraine Energy Support Fund has now received nearly EUR 1.94 billion in grant contributions from 39 foreign donors representing 26 partner countries and three international organisations.
