On 31 March, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal, together with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, First Lady Olena Zelenska, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk, Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak and heads of parliaments of other countries, took part in events dedicated to the third anniversary of the de-occupation of Kyiv region.
In Bucha, to honour the memory of those who died as a result of the russian aggression, the participants laid flowers and candle lamps at the memorials and joined the prayer service in the Church of the Holy Apostle Andrew the First-Called and All Saints.
“Three years ago, Bucha experienced the terrible atrocities of the russian occupiers. Today, this city has become a symbol of unbreakable strength and courage. We will not forget and will not forgive the enemy for any death. We are grateful to our soldiers who are defending Ukrainian land every day,” said the Head of Government.
