Local budgets to receive additional subsidy of UAH 3 billion for maintenance of educational and healthcare facilities in 2023

At a regular meeting, the Government adopted a resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine “On approval of the distribution between local budgets of an additional subsidy for undertaking expenditures transferred from the state budget for the maintenance of educational and healthcare facilities in 2023”.

The resolution was adopted in order to ensure compliance with the provisions of the Budget Code of Ukraine, as well as to carry out the procedure for further distribution of the additional subsidy between local budgets.

The State Budget of Ukraine for 2023 provides funds for additional subsidies to local budgets totaling UAH 3.7 billion. Of this amount, more than UAH 2.9 billion will be allocated to ensure proper maintenance of educational and healthcare facilities at the local level.

Implementation of the adopted resolution further provides legal grounds for regional state administrations to distribute additional subsidies between local budgets of the respective region.
