An Armed Forces of Ukraine joint command and staff exercise, Storm-2018, is occurring along the Black Sea coast.

Tactical groups of the Ukrainian Navy have  executed firing against naval, air, and coastal targets, completed mine  laying and search and rescue actions, as well as have conducted the  guarding and protection of stationing sites. Ukrainian Marines have also  performed assault-landing and anti-airborne maneuvers in defined areas.

In addition, Ukrainian Air Force units have  provided air reconnaissance and air support. Other military formations  have reinforced the sites along the state border, protecting bridges and  accomplishing other assigned tasks.
