Tetiana Berezhna: From now on, destroyed housing in architectural monuments can be restored under the eVidnovlennia program
On October 1, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted a resolution that simplifies the procedure for repairing damage to cultural heritage sites destroyed or affected by russia's armed aggression.
From now on, certificates of the eVidnovlennia program will be applicable for destroyed housing in architectural monuments. The procedure for obtaining permits and approvals through the Unified State Electronic System in the field of construction has also been simplified. This applies to both new facilities and work carried out directly on the monuments.
"For the first time, owners of housing in historic buildings will have the opportunity to use the eVidnovlennia program. Less bureaucracy, optimized processes. We are reducing time and procedures to accelerate the actual restoration of our cultural heritage," said Tetiana Berezhna, Acting Minister of Culture and Strategic Communications of Ukraine.
Previously, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine also endorsed a resolution that facilitates obtaining permits and approvals for work on cultural heritage sites and in their protected zones.
