First grant for restoring production facility approved for a Dnipro enterprise

Department of Information and Public Communications of the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, posted 30 September 2025 09:49

The first grant for rebuilding manufacturing spaces after attacks has been approved for a tea manufacturing enterprise in Dnipro. This assistance is provided under a new component of the Grants for Processing Enterprises program, which is part of the Made in Ukraine policy to support Ukrainian producers.

In July 2025, an enemy drone completely destroyed the tea production facility in Dnipro. One hundred tonnes of raw materials, equipment, as well as production premises were burned down.

Despite this, the team did not give up: they found a new facility, organized tea packaging using competitors’ capacities, and ordered a new batch of raw materials.

“To restore the equipment, the Teahouse applied for a recovery grant. They have become the first among the Ukrainian enterprises to receive it. The application has already been approved and is being prepared to be funded. The recovery grant is a new component of the Grants for Processing Enterprises program, launched by the Government in August this year,” said Ukraine’s Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.

The maximum grant amount is up to UAH 16 million, but not exceeding the verified losses. The state covers up to 80% of the costs. The funds can be used for purchasing, delivering, and installing equipment.

Businesses can reapply for the program three years after receiving the first grant and fulfilling its conditions. Preferential conditions are available for enterprises operating in frontline or de-occupied territories, printing houses, drone manufacturers, and companies purchasing Ukrainian-made equipment.
