Water tariffs for people have to remain unchanged, says Prime Minister

Water tariffs for people should not change. This was emphasised by Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.

"The Government has asked the NEURC to postpone the planned tariff changes. Our position is clear: in wartime, people should not feel additional financial pressure," said the Head of Government.

Yulia Svyrydenko noted that the next step should be for the Government, together with the NEURC, to develop a joint decision that balances the interests of consumers and the needs of service providers and water utilities, which are not supposed to lose money and go into debt.
